Our personal goal is with every adoption, we will donate a percentage toward research to the Institute for Myeloma and Bone Cancer Research and other cancer research. My son was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in 2006 and lost the Battle in May of 2011. At this time, there is no cure for the type of cancer he had. We chose the name "Serenity Springs" from the "Serenity Prayer". As it is through God, we have found peace and acceptance with the things in life we can not change. He gives constant courage to change the things we can and with His wisdom, He will continue to guide us through life. Since the purchase of our "Doodles", we have found a definite sense of serenity and joy.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.
