When you make the choice to adopt from Serenity Springs Labradoodles, you will receive the following:
Breeder requires the puppy to be spayed or neutered before 10 months of age, at owner’s expense. When Owner provides proof of the spay/neuter, Breeder will provide registration papers. The proof must be from a certified Veterinary Hospital, on paper, showing the pets description, breed & Micro Chip number. If proof is not received, Breeder’s 2 year warranty against genetic disorders will be null. Failure to honor the spayed/neutered conditions of this contract can result in the Breeder reclaiming the dog without compensation to the buyer and/or buyer having to pay a Breeding Dog Fee. This amount is based on the average Breeding dog fee.
Please be open to either a female or male Doodle. Being open to either sex may shorten the length of your wait for a pup.
We no longer plan to ship puppies in cargo for safety reasons. If you are unable to pick up your puppy from our home, a family member must come to pick up the puppy at Sacramento International Airport in person and take the puppy back in the cabin. Time permitting, we may be able to fly the puppy to you in the cabin for an additional fee. Thank you for your understanding. All transporting expenses and Cost associated with the pup transported to it’s new home, are the responsibility of the Buyer. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO TAKE RECEIPT OF YOUR PUP UNTIL AFTER THE PREARRANGED DELIVERY DATE, WE WILL BOARD YOUR PUPPY FOR A COST $40/DAY TO COVER EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH THE EXTENDED STAY.
All of our breeding stock undergo hip testing (PennHIP or OFA) and eye testing (CERF). This is to ensure us as well as the buyer (to the best of our ability) that our Doodle pups are free of potential hereditary defects. While these tests do not give us an absolute guarantee that our pups will not have any hereditary problems, they are still the best way to determine that our breeding stock is clear of specific defects
Your puppy will be vet checked before they leave for their new home. We require that you take your puppy to your veterinarian for a well-puppy visit within 72 hours of receiving them. Our pups come with a general 7-day health guarantee and a 24-month genetic health guarantee. All veterinary expenses are the responsibility of the buyer.
We ask that you do not take your puppy out and about in public until they have completed the series of puppy shots (usually 14 to 16 weeks of age). Young pups are at risk to the parvovirus as well as many other contagious illnesses. We recommend that you carry your puppy into the veterinarian’s office and hold them for the duration of your visits. The veterinarian offices are a common place for the parvovirus to enter due to the high volume of animals walking around inside. Once your puppy has had its full series of shots it is perfectly safe to take that puppy out and show them off!!
We will do our best in matching you to the pup that best suits your needs. Be very specific when filling out your puppy adoption application. It is aid us in determining which puppy will be the best suited for your family.
